Karen Rossie, DDS, MS, PHD

Research Scientist

Dr. Rossie brings a diverse background in oral pathology, dentistry, psychology, and health professional education to CTI. She served as Principal Investigator on a Phase I SBIR project related to training medical students in pain and addiction, Co-PI on grants related to entrepreneurship for women in the life sciences and has led or contributed to multiple other CTI projects for training health professionals and students in pain management, motivational interviewing, substance abuse and treatment of obesity as well as products that promote health by stress management, coping skills, and resilience and healthy eating.

Dr. Rossie is interested in health, positive psychology, resilience, and advances in medicine and loves dancing, being with family, music, nature, photography, and outdoor activities.
